Scuba Diving

Experience Cabo’s underwater world through our exclusive scuba diving excursions. If you thought that breathtaking views of the sea is all Cabo has to offer, you are in for a big surprise. Cabo’s marine life needs no introduction. The Sea Cortez is home to a wide range of species such as turtles, sea lions, mahi-mahi, sardines, and tuna. No wonder it was referred to as the world’s aquarium by Cousteau.

A fishing charter can only show you a quarter of Cabo’s marine life. All the magic happens underwater. It’s why Rent Cabo San Lucas offers scuba diving trips to guests staying in our luxury vacation rentals. A scuba diving trip allows you to explore the hidden gems in the waters. Our scuba diving team will take you to the best dive sites where you can witness the migrations of various sea animals. If you are in Cabo or plan on visiting, this is an opportunity of a lifetime.

Our scuba diving trips are suitable for family members, friends, honeymooners, and corporate executives. We are very keen on safety, and it doesn’t matter if it’s your first or a hundredth-time scuba diving. We have experts who will provide professional assistance. There are plenty of things to explore when scuba diving. Besides fish, you will spot underwater caves. If you are lucky, you can even hear the clicking and whistling sounds of migrating whales.

Cabo Scuba Diving Rates

The scuba diving rates will depend on several factors. First, if you are a newbie, you must go through a scuba diving course that lasts two to three hours. You will then be awarded a certification that you can use to scuba dive near the shore and not deeper than 40 feet. Cabo is a great place to kickstart your scuba diving journey because it has many dive sites.

The Professional Association of Diving Instructors offers a permanent scuba diving certification. We highly recommend this option because, other than Cabo, you can scuba dive in any part of the world with this certificate. The course will last a couple of days. If you are interested in the temporary or permanent PADI certificate, please let us know so we can make arrangements.

Once you get the certification, there are plenty of scuba diving packages. Our packages include buoyancy control devices, wet suits, snorkels, masks, regulators, and fins.

Let Us Take You to Popular Scuba Diving Sites in Cabo

We have identified specific sites to be the best diving destinations in Cabo. This is where we will take you on your scuba diving trip. Below is a quick overview of what you can expect to see at each diving site.

Land's End

It’s funny they call it Land’s End, yet it’s a ten minutes boat ride from the marina. This dive site features boulder rocks, lobster, pufferfish, and eels in not less than 40 feet. When you go much deeper is when you will see the famous underwater sandfall.

The Corridor

It’s much further from the marina, but it has tons of beautiful-looking fish such as hawk fish and barracuda. Several divers have spotted sharks along the corridor.

Gordo Banks

This is where RCSL takes experienced divers. The Gordo Banks is located around 10 miles from Cabo. Though it’s located further than the above dive spots, it’s a haven for marine life enthusiasts. There are giant manta rays, hammerhead, and whale sharks at the Gordo Banks.

La Paz

Do you like the cute videos of sea lions that you see online? Well, RCSL brings you an opportunity to interact with these funny creatures face to face. At La Paz, you can play with sea lions. If you prefer something a little bit more thrilling, you can dive with whale sharks.

Cabo Pulmo

The last diving site on our list is the Cabo Pulmo. This site is characterized by beautiful coral reefs. It’s also home to tiger sharks, bull sharks, and parrot fish. Since Cabo Pulmo is a few miles from Cabo San Lucas, we recommend hiring private transportation. A Mercedes Sprinter van would be great for ferrying a large group. Alternatively, you can hire an Escalade and experience the royal treatment. Our chauffeur can take you through various attraction sites located along the way.
